Tony Perrottet: I have two projects --- one is a fictionalized memoir (or autobiographical novel, however you want to look at it!) about the time I used to live in South America as a foreign correspondent --- a sort of comic version of The Year of Living Dangerously. I've also got another "historical travel book" on the drawing board, although I'm not supposed to say what it's about just yet after I get the proposal clarified (and of course land the lavish contract), I hope I can wax poetical about it!
Emma Sweeney: I don't have a book in the works...yet! But I hope to be.
Mona Golabek: There is interest and talk of my doing a series around my radio syndication --- a series of romantic books based on the great artists and poets.
Maria Rosa Menocal: I'm thinking about this now, but for the moment I am enjoying having this book out, so I am not in a huge hurry to finalize a new project.
Lynn Schooler: I don't want to give away too much yet, but what I will say is that my next book is a war story where nobody gets hurt and they save the whales. The Blue Bear was a rather heavy book to write, very difficult and emotionally demanding. This next one is going to be a lot of fun, because it is a true story that I think will surprise a lot of people and, if I do my job well, make them think about history in a different way.
