Cherry Adair |
Cherry Adair lives in Northern California and collects teapots and books. Lots of books. With their two grown daughters out of the nest, Cherry and her husband, David, have lived under the dominance of their feline, T.C. (Temporary Cat), for ten years.
Cherry owned an interior design business before discovering that writing was even more fun than decorating. When not glued to her computer or reading, the former RITA finalist can be found puttering around her flower gardens.

Lisa Jackson |
After building her audience writing contemporary and historical romance, Oregon native Lisa Jackson made a smart, gradual move into writing the kind of books she likes to read --- gritty romantic thrillers. Set mainly in the sultry south, these chillers are popular with men as well as women.
Her first novel to score the triple crown of publishing --- the New York Times, USA Today and Publishers Weekly bestseller lists --- was Cold Blooded (Zebra Books, June 2002), and she's been a hot seller ever since. The Morning After, the sequel to The Night Before, which scored number six on the New York Times list, will be published February 24, 2004. She still writes an occasional historical romance, such as Temptress, which will be published by Signet in October.
