Critical Condition
A small group of highly placed doctors is working on a project that could revolutionize the recovery of people with all sorts of critical illnesses, but some are ignoring safety guide-lines in their rush to be first and make millions.

Then terrorists against anything to do with fetal cell research enter the mix, and everyone's life is at risk.

Peter Clement's Summer Reading List

Our Mutual Friend
by Charles Dickens
I love finding one of the masters and reading, not just for enjoyment, but seeing how they hit all the marks and tackle the problems all writers face. In this case, the opening chapter grabbed me. It is as mysterious and sinister as any contemporary mystery writer. The rest will provide a world to get lost in.

The Infinite Plan

by Isabel Allende
I mainly read out of my genre when writing. Her craft is magical and her voice is unique.

The Sinister Pig
by Tony Hillerman
I love Tony Hillerman. He too creates a world to get lost in with his wonderfully crafted charecters and the way he evokes a sense of place. I'll also highly recommend readers get some audio tapes of him reading his own work. Riveting.
